Magarini Children Centre and Organic Farming Demonstration Farm

Everyone has a special mission in life. My mission is to serve humanity in many ways. Through the International Peace Group, I serve on many levels throughout many countries. Sometimes people come to this planet with very special projects to become intimately involved in. I am fortunate to have been directed to help the Magarini Children Centre and Organic Farming Demonstration Farm. The Internation Peace Group has been intimately involved for over 12 years. My personal work with this center in one of the most important projects of my life. Nothing has helped me develop as a person like devoting my life to supporting the children at the center. They are my role models to teach how happiness has nothing to do with materialism. It has everything to do with relationships. We support the structures necessary for the basic needs of the children.

We have helped with the installation of two bore holes or wells, building of the dormitories, school buildings, irrigation for the farm, building of a high school, paying the teacher salaries, emergency food throughout the droughts, athletic ball, new mattresses, blankets, mosquito nets, many years ago curriculum, uniform and many other needs of the center.

The school has grown from 65 children to 400 children since we joined with the center. The program has grown from an old falling apart school building built out of pealing plywood, to brick two stories, 8 classrooms each and a one story, 4 classrooms. Girls and Boys Dormitories, A giant chicken house, a large pig house, 4 cows, goats, a fruit tree forest, several acres of organic agriculture, community water supply from the water wells we supported, and it is a demonstration farm for the community and local universities.
